January 15, 2024, several Ashley Hall faculty members, students, and parents marched in the annual Charleston MLK Day Parade. The parade started at Burke High School where marchers walked to Mother Emanuel AME Church. Members walked from Fishburne Street, up King Street, and onto Calhoun Street, where Mother Emanuel is located. The Ashley Hall participants included members of the lower school, and intermediate program, upper school students, parents, and faculty. All were fully representing the spirit and joy of Ashley Hall while marching through the streets and giving spectators candies, tattoos, and purple and white flair. The spirit was full of blissfulness and joy.
