2024 Predictions and Trends

Will the Swifties hear the sweet song of wedding bells?!! Who knows? These are some of the most asked questions that will hopefully be answered in 2024. You can read all about it in this article. The best way I thought to do this article was to interview 3 people and ask them what their predictions are for 2024. I also researched different topics for trends such as: Health, Beauty, and Social.

Let's start out with trend predictions. I will be talking about health, beauty, and social. I researched all about these topics and found some interesting stuff such as: the health trends that I think will be following us into 2024. 

A lot of doctors have been discovering more about mental health and how to improve it. A Lot of people have been taking cold plunges to help with calming and to help with mental health. Another thing people are doing is infrared light which is also called sauna therapy to help with wellness and well being. 

Some beauty products and techniques that will most likely be trending in 2024 is the latte look which is a bronzed, more tan look that makes you look like you do in summer but in any season. Another trend that is happening in 2024 is waterless pedicures which is just a pedicure without the water. It also looks like waxing is making a big come back. 

The last topic for trend predictions is society. The first thing I will talk about is how AI is taking over the world. Instead of people taking your order it is robots. Also in apps such as Tik Tok and Snapchat, the robot and AI are always talking to you and watching your every move. I also think TikTok will power through another year. It is staying strong. The one thing I know will stay the same is the safe space of  Ashley Hall.

I also asked a few students and faculty members what their pop culture predictions were. I spoke with Mr. Lipka, Annie Goldstein ‘24, and Rhetta Rutledge ‘29. 

Let's move forward to the second part of this article… PREDICTIONS! First, let's hear from Mr. Lipka, He says that he thinks Taylor and Travis will get married. He also says that there is going be the iPhone 16 and it’s going to be the EXACT same as the iPhone 15. He has one more prediction: he thinks we are gonna have a MAJOR hurricane. 

The next person I interviewed was Annie. She says that Chick-fil-A or McDonalds will come out with something new and everyone will go crazy. She also thinks that Taylor Swift will have a slump because she has just had a big concert/world tour and needs to relax. The last idea she has is that the reality show will make a comeback. 

Last but not least, I interviewed Rhetta and she says that she thinks there will be a global cure for a major disease. She also thinks that a few of the trends that came for 2023 will die down such as Nike and Stanleys.
